* busted blogger …
Hey y’all! How are ya? I’m just peachy tonight, maybe a little wilted peach, but peachy none the less. For all of you sitting home anxiously awaiting the ACHS girls soccer game score for the night, our girls won 7 to 1 … I didn’t get to go but I understand that Anna played a good game and I should be sorry that I missed it. (someone fire up the guilt train right quick, I am gonna have to take a ride)!
Now, on to some blog business … I have a confession to make. I have apparantly been busted for a post a did a while back about the going on’s down at the church house. oops! Tonight, when I arrived at the church house, on time even, everyone was gathered outside hanging out and talking. I immediately informed mr. preacher man that I was sure he was doomed for all of tarnation for his evil comment about one of my cute kittens (he didn’t seem overly concerned about his impending doom). So anyway, my buddy Earl is standing there with us and informs yours truly that he has “heard, that he was on my blog”. I should stop right here and tell you, in case you don’t know, that I live in a very small town. The only thing here that travels at warp speed is gossip and pertinant information such as who did what this week and so on … we roll up the streets around 9:00 pm and the only thing open 24 hours is Walmart, which is handy if I need to go to the bathroom, but otherwise Walmart is used as the only social gathering place in town. We don’t have a movie theatre, a bowling alley, nothing … just Walmart. In fact, I think there is a special pipe line that pumps sunshine to parts of our county on a regular basis, I’m not even sure they have powr’ out there yet and I know they don’t have such luxuries as cable tv or internet. Which brings me back to my being busted. Evidentaly Earl knew about his blog fame from his daughter, who had heard it from her daughter, who reads my blog because my Aunt Wanda told her mama about it down where they work. Y’all got that? Now, I love me some Earl and family! I love that Haley has the most beautiful smile and it is contagious … I love that Earl and Betty are like my adopted grandparents … I love that Judy always makes me feel so good, everytime I see her! But it never evuh occured to me that Earl would know he was on my blog. Thank heaven I wrote good stuff, not that I could possibly think of anything bad to write. But this is the funny part … I say “well Earl, I didn’t know you had the internet at your house” Earl looks at me as if I had a booger dangling from my nose (you know that look, a little curious, a little ewww and a little you’re so stupid look all at once) and says “I don’t have one of those at my house but I might have to get me one of um if you’re gonna write about me on your bawg“! Yes you should Earl … I think that would be a wonderful idea … for Earl & Betty to get themselves one of them internets … so they can keep up with my blog! He might even find him a tractor website to look at once in a while. And I bet Betty could find some new fabulous recipe to make for me. You know, I hope you have moments in your lives that you just feel overly blessed … blessed because you have such wonderful people in your life and you probably don’t deserve them … remember to enjoy them, remember to love them and remember to always be thankful for them! I sure am!
me.
