mr. preacher man before you call my precious kitten cute puppy food … you have to admit, it’s pretty dadgum cute! I think Faith and Hannah need a kitten to snuggle with, one that will be kept far away from those two horses in your back yard, Diesel & Abby, that you call dogs! (yes I know I have two horses in my house that we call dogs too, but Dozer is terrified of the kittens & Sadie just wants to give them a bath all day … not eat them)

aww :) they are so cute. and i think the yeltons do need a kitten addition to their home.

Would someone just put me out of my misery with all these kittens. We need a kitten like we need a clogged artery. Cute? It looks like something I should wipe my feet on before entering a house.

you’re so mean. preachers are supposed to be nice.

  5. Eric

Preachers are suppose to be truthful, no where does the Bible say they have to be nice.

you mr. preacher man are correct on the nice thing about preacher’s I’ve researched it for an hour now in hopes of proving you wrong … but … I am going to go with this response instead, Gen. 1 verse 25 – “God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds & all creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good”! my translation: God made baby kittens and thinks they are good so you ought to like baby kittens! Now which one do you want for the girls?

And just when I thought there was only the KJV version and the NIV version we get another version – the MIV version. The Melinda I’m Right Version. Those kittens are cute!

  8. Cathy

That’s a good one Earpie. All we can say is “Bless”

  9. Eric

The only time cats are referenced in the bible is when it says “our battle is not with flesh and blood but with principalities” and cats are demons not God’s creatures.

ok, I should clarify … (although I hate being wrong and love being right) I am pretty sure no one in their right mind would trust me to translate any version of the Bible. Secondly, where in that passage is a cat referenced? some “Cat’s” may be demonic but my kittens are cute & cuddly. Although I am not really enjoying the fact that the dogs water bowl has apparantly become their kittie pool or that I cannot take two steps without stepping on a tiny animal by mistake, it’s like having a house full of moving happy meal toys! and btw Eric, you didn’t say which kitten the girls would be taking. And even I wouldn’t send a kitten to Earpies house, Puddy has endured enough torture for all animal kind!

Puddy kind of is a cat. He definitely has nine lives and then some. Would you be afraid to send a kitten just because Bradley put the garage door down on Puddy (right on his neck which caused him to not be able to breathe)? and then left him for quite some time before I came home to find him. Or could it possibly be the fact that Matthew might color the kitten. If that is the reason we’ll be good to get one around the 4th of July as Matthew colored him red, white and blue. If none of that concerns you then Matthew could certainly use a kitten to take on his journey to “Opia”. That might be a blog all on its own.

it could be because the last phone conversation we had included matthew yelling “puddy is dead” as he was hauling him around by the neck. Or the fact that puddy keeps running away only to be fetched by your family members. Although, I must admit, the whole garage door thing scares me a tad! I think puddy was trying to committ suicide and was holding his breath on purpose. And bless Matthew, thinking he had to go to “opia” of course, he probably thinks you get to “opia” on a cruise ship with furry characters!
