* “Not Me Monday” …

Posted on April 6th, 2009 by melinda in "Not Me Monday"

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to see what everybody else is not doing.

Once again this week I pondered long and hard about doing “Not Me Monday” and once again, I have decided to go ahead & write it … So here we go.

This week I did not continue to pray endlessly for Stellan, it has not been a roller coaster ride for this little fellow so why would I feel the need to continue to pray for him & his family.

I did not check Mckmama’s blog throughout the days this week to see if there were any new updates … that would mean I think about them during my day and that would be so odd since I’ve never even met them.

I will not ask you once again to please just take a few minutes today to ask for God’s wisdom & guidance for his parents as they are making some serious decisions about his current and future care. I’m sure it’s not a struggle at all for them.

I was not a bit saddened to read that Mckmama’s other children have been sick with a virus & had to go to the ER over the weekend. I don’t ever wonder what God’s plan is.

And a bit closer to home, my real life and my heart, my bff Cathy is not still very sick, I am not still worried about her and I am not really hoping she is feeling well enough to go on our planned camping trip this week. She seriously never gets sick but she cannot seem to get over whatever bug she’s caught, so if y’all would really in truly say a prayer for her, I would be very greatful. Y’all just don’t know how much I depend on her to keep me in line. This train could go south quickly without her guidance. Besides who is going to cook for me all week and make fun of me for sitting on my front porch with my friends and yell at my children for me?

ps: Go Heels!

me.

    I sure hope that Cathy gets better soon. She has been sick too long. I also hope that your family has a good camping trip.
    I am going to miss having you as our teacher on Wednesdays. Can we not talk you into keep doing it? Love ya
