* stop the world, I want off …

Posted on May 19th, 2009 by melinda in Another day in the life of me.

Do you ever just have those moments in life when it seems like the entire world is spinning out of control and there is not one thing you can do to stop it? I don’t mean that in a pitty party for melinda sort of way. I am asking it in a “I could really use some good advice on coping with change” kind of way. Change is not my cup of tea. I don’t change anything … ever … if I can possibly avoid it. But sometimes circumstances that are not within my control change things for me, and in this instance, other people that I care deeply about. I realize all change is not bad. And I’m sure there will be good to come from the changes that are taking place this minute in my life. That does not mean it doesn’t scare me a little bit. I think it’s normal to be apprehensive in times of change. But I also think it’s normal to take those steps forward with confidence and make the best of them, which is exactly what I plan to do. I don’t plan to do it today … but I do plan to do it. Today, I am just going to pout.

Ok, pouters… I have added a post, but thought I better let our fearless leader review before publishing. So, melinda, get off the pouting couch and go read and publish the post!

Do not worry little trooper it will all work out. You know when you tell someone it will all work out, you can never be wrong. It will work out I just don’t know which way it will work out but one way or the other it will. I think I just used the word “will” more than I ever have in such a brief statement. I love ya and try not to worry…never mind don’t even know why I said that part.
