* Pencil, paper, question #1 …

Posted on May 28th, 2009 by melinda in time is clerking away ...

In honor of our retiring Clerk of Court … who just happens to be a scholar of all things political and historical … we are going to play a game of politcal/history trivia. Put your thinking caps on and play along. Scroll down to the comment box to leave your answers. I promise it won’t be very difficult.

#1. How long is each term for an elected Clerk of Court?

#2. Who said the following: “All politics are local”?

#3. Who was the 32nd President of the United States?

#4. What is the 6th ammendment to the Constitution?

#5. What year did the Civil War begin?

#6. What was General Lee’s horse’s name?

#7. How many jurors are seated in a criminal trial not including alternates?

#8. What is the highest court in the State of North Carolina?

#9. Who said: “And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country”?

#10. What are the chances I (most likely not alone) will be sitting in a cacuzzi at Frye South on Friday afternoon around 6 pm?

Good luck! Google can be very helpful … besides, you might just learn something you didn’t already know.

me.
