Hi! I just wanted to let y’all know that after tonight I am not sure how often I will be able to post to our blog or add updates over the next couple of weeks. After what has been a truly stressful, long and somewhat mentally exhaustive, fun and exciting month … my husband, our daughters and some really great friends are heading to our home away from home for an extended camping vacation. We will be gone for 2 weeks. Unfortunately for most of us, we will be working at least part of those 2 weeks, but the commute isn’t that bad and the relaxing atmosphere is well worth the effort. Richard and I were back and forth about whether or not we should even go, for lots of little reasons, but we have decided to go and I have moved past my hesitation and on to the getting stuff ready mode. I have grounded myself from the computer tomorrow in order to make sure things get done and I’m not running around like a crazy person on Sunday afternoon throwing this and that in at the last minute. My camper is not overly large and requires me to be organized, thus I must start organizing now. I will be taking the laptop with me, but only heaven knows if and when I will have internet service. The service there is spotty to say the least. And truthfully, I just want to enjoy some time with my family and friends. I want to read a couple good books, swim, sit up late and listen to the kids funny stories around the campfire while I watch them stuff toasty golden marshmellows into their mouths. I’m ready for a good ole bisquit on a stick and a hot dog roasted over a fire. I’m anxious to turn the air down to 27 degrees and be glad I’m not paying the power bill. If I get really industrious, I may even hit a few tennis balls with Cat and Michele. If I’m really lucky, drunk campground Gary will not set off a stick of dynamite right behind our campers this year. And if the sun aligns with mars and the moon is in the perfect place, Charles will be nowhere to be found!

Whatever you will be doing over the next few weeks, be safe and enjoy the upcoming Holiday. I can check the blog & comments from work, but I don’t post or update anything on there. Unfortunately they don’t pay me to blog and I really have to have a job and would prefer to keep the one I have.
