I am so jealous I cannot stand myself. Do you see that little white dot way off in the upper right hand corner? That is her Uncle Richards truck! Her Auntie m’s mini is no where to be seen. Do you know why that is? Because her Auntie m is at home in NC working. Is she not just the most beautiful child in the world? And if that picture weren’t enough to break my little heart into a million and one pieces … my evil sweet brother sent this one along too …
I’m pretty near sure Richard has never read me a book. There is nothing quite as hot as your husband reading to your favorite itty bitty girl in the world. I do believe I miss him even more now. She appears to be very happy that her Uncle Richard is visiting for a bit. I think she has him securely wrapped around one of those fingers she isn’t sucking on. Yes … I do realize that opinions vary on the whole thumb sucking thing, but you have to admit it’s really sweet to look at.
If he doesn’t pack his bags and head East over the mountains and thru the woods before Labor Day … this girl will be packing her bags and heading West for a long Holiday weekend. How long can 9 days possibly take to get here?

It’s hard not to be jealous of Richard spending time with Emma. Hopefully the days will go by quickly, but if not, just think of how wonderful it is that he is able to be with her, one on one reading a book. That pic is perfect. You got 2 people you love very much spending time together. I would print it off and put it on my desk and everytime I looked at it, think about how lucky you are to have both of them, and how lucky they are to have this moment in time together. Love ya.
I have to agree with both of you ladies. I would definitely head west & take the rest of your family with you. What a great bonding time Richard & Emma Joy are having. That picture is priceless! All of you need to plan to go there together & have as much bonding as a family as you possibly can. You are BLESSED with a wonderful family as alot of us are, we need to always remember there are those with families that aren’t wondertful. We should PRAISE God everyday for all He has given us. joni? my sweet sweet girl … I do believe I will wait patiently while you, chrisi, anna and haley finish school, get married and have me some grand children! Plus, Amy already has Bailey, so I get my baby fix a couple of times most weeks (btw, she looks just like Rodney) and then there are the wonderful times I get to go see the beauty in those pictures … like this coming weekend. love you & congratulations on your engagement.
