* unmasked …
Warning! Put your valuables away. They may not be safe with me tonight. Hide your grandma’s jewelry, put the silver away, stash your cash in the safe. I’m not typically a thiever but I did steal borrow the idea for this post from another blog I read.
I’m curious. Or shall I just be honest and say … I’m plain ole nosey? First of all, before I start confessing to stuff, let me just say I am so glad y’all are here. It thrills my heart to sign on and see new comments, it makes my day when I see someone out somewhere and they say stuff like: your blog is fun to read or I cannot believe you said that or how are your piggies? It’s not that I have any grand notions about my abilities in the writing department or that there is one thing about me or my life that is anything other than ordinary … it just truly makes me feel good that all of you take the time to drop by and see what’s going on around here. It shocks me sometimes when people tell me they read our blog.
You know how I got here. You know who I am … you probably know things about me that you wish you didn’t know. I must admit, I am curious about you. Who are you and how did you get here? I can see the number of people who read the blog each day, but if you never comment … I never know you were here. Don’t be shy. I want you to know that I appreciate you. That you make me smile. It’s time to come out of the proverbial non commenting closet and check in. Just say “hi melinda, I stopped by today”. I promise I will not bite, I will not sell your info to the highest bidder, I will not ask for a donation, I will not stalk you nor will I forward you every email in my inbox. Be brave … scroll down and let me know … who are you and how did you get here!
ps: and don’t forget … y’all come back now!
me.

Hi Melinda, yes I read you everday. I may not comment all the time, but I truly love reading this. It always starts my day to a good start. Reading this at 5:45 is really early for you I know, but it is great for me. Have a good day. I love you.
Ok, I will admit it… I still stop by and read. Even after you made fun of my first baby step over “that line” in the world of fashion.
oh for the love of pete … i did not make fun of you cry baby. i said and i quote “i love it”! if you’re going to read, read correctly little brother. ps: send my daddy home!
Hi Melinda,
I stopped by today because a co-worker told me I had to read your blog. I’m proabably gonna be hooked.
Hi Melinda, I read your blog everyday and I check it to see if you have posted anything new each time I log on. I must be addicted or something. I always enjoy your blog but I don’t comment alot. I guess I wait till I think I have something special to say. You make me smile each time I read a new post. The way I got here is hearing you talk about it at church & when I got internet service I asked for the blog info to check it out. I am glad I did. I also like to read all the comments that other people leave. I want to say that I think you are a fun-loving person & I enjoy your outlook on things. I find myself being on the serious side of life too much sometimes (all the time if you ask Kevin & Caleb) & it is nice to be around people who like to laugh & have fun. So, thanks for the humor!!!
I love to get on and read each day, i laugh so hard some times i cry. And i love the recipes you post.
Thank you all so much for taking time to be “unmasked”! Traci, welcome to our blog, kick back, make yourself at home, take your shoes off and stay a while … we’re glad you’re here.
You know I read your blog….although I don’t always comment on the subject of the day.
I also get a good laugh and love the pix.
Love, Frannie
Hi Melinda, I do my best to read your blog everyday. I don’t know of a time I didn’t smile ( and laugh) at what you had to say. You have a great sense of humor. Love your recipes, too. Can we have more?
frances, I think as my favorite mother in law it’s a rule that you have to read the blog …
jodie, I would love to post more recipes. I wasn’t sure if y’all would like recipes or not, but I love to cook so I love recipes. I think we should talk my mother in law in to sharing her lasagna recipe. Your life will never be the same after eating her lasagna. I don’t bother making it, I just beg her to make it when I want some. Like Sunday, on my birthday would be a great day for lasagna. hint hint.
As I get older my memory fades. I forgot Chrisi’s birthday. In that same week, I forgot Michelles birthday. Then last week I forgot Donna’s birthday. But I remembered Melindas birthday….ain’t I good…hehe
