* now that’s using your gourd …
You have got to see this! These pumpkins were on display at the fair this past week. They were createdby elementary school students from Stony Point Elementary. I’m not sure what grades participated but let me just tell you … I am amazed. What creative, talented kids. As we have established, I have no, nada, zero creative abilities, I am very impressed. The slogan of the booth was “Express Yourself” … and boy did they ever. I can’t even begin to pick a favorite.
Is that not just the coolest thing ever? Which one is your favorite?
me.

Oh my goodness! These are precious. I think the pig one is my favorite…
I think they gave my kids some idea’s for their’s this year.
jodie, I think that would be so great. and you don’t even have to cut the pumpkins and get all messy … or spend 6 hours carving one “peace sign pumpkin” like my younger child and 15 other semi adults did (eehheemm … courtney)!
I vote for the one that looks like a fish and then 2nd I pick the Cinderella one.
I know you did not just call me out on that! I was one of the first ones finished! (And that would be because I don’t have a creative bone in my body – and you could totally tell too!)
i realize i’m getting old but if my memory serves me correctly, you and durmire were giving directions as my little freak daughter carved away
Well the poor girl did need all the help she could get! In her defense, it did turn out pretty nice (after like a million hours!)
I liked the fishy one best
If I don’t vote for spongebob I am sure my little one would be heart-broken so here’s one for spongebob. By the way the likeness of him is great!
I think i liked the fish one the best.
The kids came up with some neat themes. I favor the blue carriage scene.
