I cannot for the love of me figure out how to post the actual video from youtube in to this post.  It is very irritating!  But … never fear, I am a persistent little cuss.  You have got to see this video.  I have got to share it with you.  It’s a must do thing.  Non optional.  You are now required by blog rule # 42 (a) subsection 13 to go view this video.  Make sure your volume is on.  You may have a huge desire to sing along or get up and dance.  Go ahead, throw caution to the wind, enjoy your life today, it’s a blessing.  Richard and I danced around our living room while singing loudly thru the entire thing.  Grab your kid, dance with them, sing to them.  Feel free to come back and thank me for making your day better.  If you don’t smile while watching it … you my friend are a scrooge.  This is a scrooge free blogging zone today.

Update:

I love what the video has to say.  It’s an old song but such a true song.  Everybody needs someone to stand by them thru life.  I know I do.  So here’s the deal.  We at Mt. Wesley are on a mission.  We are on a mission to change our church from a maintenance minded church to a mission minded church.  Here’s the better part … we ain’t playin’.  We are on the move.   We are going to be out standing by anyone who may need standing by.  Even if it means we have to put our personal wants, plans and desires to the side … we are committed.  At least our leadership team is committed and I have a notion lots of other folks at our church are committed too.  I know most of you are involved in your church (if it happens not to be my church) but if you have some additional time, a talent, financial support, prayer support, food or anything else you think may be helpful … we ain’t prideful either … we would love your help.  We kicked off our first project yesterday morning and will be heading toward our second project on Halloween day.  If you are interested, let me, Cathy, Eric or anyone else at the church house know.  We would love to have you in any capacity you have to offer.  It’s time to move our behinds off the pews and out in to the community.  I am sticking with my earlier statement for my motivation …
