* role reversal …
Something is very wrong at our house. We are having an identity crisis at the ole hacienda. Do you see this? This is my younger daughter, Anna …
She is a cowgirl. It’s what she does. She’s rubbing off on Emma Joy. I expected that. I’m not surprised that Emma Joy loves horses as much as her cousin Anna does.
Here is the confusing part …
Chrisi (and our sweet friend Haley) is not a cowgirl. It’s not what she does. She is crafty and girly. She is a shopper, which may be where the identity crisis began. She bought herself some cowgirl boots for Anna’s hoedown, she even wore them to a rodeo …
I must say she looks pretty dadgum cute in them there boots! Can I get a yee haw?
But this? This is insane! This would be somewhat akin to me exercising for fun … turning down a krispy kreme … walking away from any baked product containing cream cheese … it’s just not normal I tell ya!
A lasso? She is holding a lasso. With such grace and skill snicker. But wait … there’s more.
Roping! She roped the dummy calf on her first try. Of course, the dummy calf is made of pvc pipe and painted pink, it doesn’t actually run from the rope, it just kind of sits there patiently waiting to be cow tied by a non cowgirl. I really hate I was in the house playing UFC on the xbox and missed this … thank goodness someone got some pictures on my camera … priceless.
me.
