Ok, which one of you were suppose to be in charge of me not going to the fabric store? hmm? Fess up, go on, repent for being derelict in your duties, cause I know it isn’t my fault that I got in my car, drove across the big bridge, in the rain to go fabric shopping … nope, not my fault. So what if we have to eat vienna wiennies for the next week, big deal, I have new fabric.
Listen, I rationalize it this way … if it does happen to be bad weather again this weekend, I will need something to occupy myself with. Yes, I do have other fabric but I’m bored with it. It’s no longer new and shiny. I won’t get on Richard’s one nerve all weekend, I won’t bother you updating the blog all weekend, sewing is much more fun than cleaning and I can feel productive all at the same time. It’s a win win.
I did feel a tiny bit guilty out shopping for little ole me … so, to make myself feel less guilty, I bought you a present too! Yay … a present and it’s not even a holiday! Ok, let me clarify, I bought 1 present, which one of you can win by doing absolutely nothing other than leaving a comment on this post. Just say “hi melinda” or “melinda, I am calling the fabric junkie hotline and reporting you right now” or anything that may come to mind. Remember, we ain’t picky around here.
Wanna see what I got you? I love it. I got me one too. We can be twins. It really isn’t an overly special prize, I simply like it. In fact, it made me think of a few of you when I picked it out. I like what it says …
Live, Laugh, Love … sounds like a good plan to me. I’m sure one of you has a picture that will look beautiful in this frame. Maybe a recent snow picture? Maybe one of your kids or family? Where do you buy your fabric from? I need to make a fabric run (when I get my taxes back!). Love the frame. I love the “live, laugh, love”. I have it in several places in my house!!
hey amanda, tonight i just went to hobby lobby cause it was closest to the house. i have bought stuff from hancock fabric also but my favorite fabric store is joan’s in tn but we don’t have one anywhere near here.
Now Melinda, you know you want a pic of me in that frame to show all the good looking, rich, single guys that you encounter at the courthouse. One wearing a suit and employed would be preferred.
margie, not to be a downer here, but the majority of people that i see at the court house are actually going to jail … but, i will be glad to pick you one out if you’d like!
That frame would look very nice in my dining room only if you put in a picture of Anna and Chrisi which I have very few of.
