* did ya vote yet? …

Posted on May 3rd, 2010 by melinda in Another day in the life of me.

This post is going to be short, sweet and to the point.  I have been going non stop for 3 weeks now and I realize I haven’t had much time to write anything of great significance … not that I normally write awe inspiring, world changing post, just some are way more interesting than others.

I do want to take a minute to remind all of you that tomorrow is primary day.  It is so very important for you to take time to go out and vote.  Although I have already voted, and I do have a particular candidate that I would love to see win … I am going to stick with my own personal blog rule and not write about either of the candidates.  I think the majority of them have their own web sites and/or facebook pages and if you aren’t yet sure who you plan to cast your vote for, I encourage you to go check their pages out and make an informed decision.  This year I am unable to vote in the commissioner’s race, but if you happen to be registered Republican or Unaffiliated, you will be able to vote in the primary and in that race, the primary will decide the entire election, as no Democrat candidates are running.

Most of all, I ask that you remember this … voting is a privilage.  We should all be extremely glad to have the opportunity to make use of our voices.  I know many of you may be thinking that your vote doesn’t matter, I am here to tell you, you are incorrect … your vote does matter.  Make it count!

ps: I am sad my little brother will not be home for the election tomorrow … I will be missing him!

me.
