Have I told y’all lately that I am extremely jealous of my next door neighbor, substitute mother, gardening guru friend Penny?  Y’all should see her garden.  While my poor little planter beds are suffering the ill effects of my over planting and the torential down pours we’ve been having … Penny & Randy’s garden is progressing along quite nicely.  She hasn’t sent me any updated pictures of the garden yet (it’s way too far away for me to go take pictures myself) she has sent me a couple new pictures of her flowers.

These flowers were given to Penny by some folks at the school she taught at when she retired.  It is also the same school my mom was a counselor at.   We love that school and the people who work there.

I’m no expert, but I think they are tiger lillies?  Maybe Penny will let us know for sure.  I also think she needs to share some of them with her favorite neighbors!
