* My daughters

I’m not sure how a mother can ever adequately describe her daughters to people.  I became a mom at 19 and have basically grown up with them.  I have an extremely close but different relationship with both of my daughters, probably because they are two very different people themselves.  Like my mother, I have tried to instill in them good morals, values, ethics and the ability to think on their own.  To have their own opinion’s and idea’s.  Sometimes, I have regretted that line of thinking, but more often than not, I am proud beyond explanation.  So please indulge me while I share my view of my daughters with you.

Chrisi

Chrisi

Chrisi … kind & gentle, beautiful inside & out, silly & intelligent, tender hearted & grounded in tradition, sweet & cuddly, mediator & listener,  lover of children & magnet of children.  Hater of dirt & all things dirty.  Over the top organized, ardent user of the personal planner, scheduled & detailed in every area of life.  Not a lover of books but huge fan of movies.  All things princessly & all things girlie.  Good deal finder, money watcher – especially her own money, crafty & creative,  Aspiring cook & hostess, Bapa finger wrapper, Nana missing, sister befriending, Richard confounding, mamas girl, uncle Thad & Brad loving, Emma Joy adoring, boyfriend admiring.  One would serve themselves well to get to know her, she will make you say “what? or are you kidding me?” more than once but you will walk away feeling better about yourself & the world.

Anna

Anna

Anna … independent & opinionated, unique & beautiful, free spirited & high spirited, forever loyal,  friend of many & friend to many, lover of her horse & anything outdoors, adventurer & risk taker, attitude having, long curls galore, quick witted & funny, sharp tongued & outspoken, intelligent & open minded, thinker & people watcher, music listening & world peace wanting, book reader & movie watcher, stray animal collector, mud fightin’ & dirty gettin’, boot wearer & barrell horse racer, cowboy admiring, boyfriend denying, big truck liking, hard work doing, question asking & answer having, great conversationalist, not easily convinced. Bapa’s little helper, Nana misser, sister befriending, Richard’s ally, mama confiding, uncle Thad & Brad crazy, Emma Joy loving.  Often a contradiction in and of herself but if you ever get to know her, you will never forget her … I promise.
